Onyx Equities, a real estate investment and property services firm, recently announced The Benjamin, its 60-luxury apartment complex in Ridgewood, NJ, has opened, Real Estate NJ reports. The company is perhaps better known for acquiring, managing and repositioning commercial real estate properties, but its Onyx Living division is working to deliver high-quality construction and luxurious finishes at its latest residential communities in Ridgewood, including The Benjamin.
The apartment building comprises one and two-bedroom units as well as high quality lifestyle amenities like a fitness center, screening room, Amazon package lockers, a rooftop lounge and The Benjamin Club that includes a social lounge, bar and game room and a screening room. Street-level retailers such as restaurants, boutiques, grocers, coffee shops and convenience stores surround The Benjamin, which is just steps away from the Ridgewood Train Station.
Ideal Location in Bergen County
“Ridgewood residents have been looking for a housing option that offers them the elegance and charm of living here, but without the fuss of home ownership for some time,” John Saraceno Jr., co-founder and managing principal of Onyx Equities told Real Estate NJ. “We created The Benjamin with contemporary finishes and attention to aesthetic detail, and with materials and systems to ensure comfort and ease of living.”
Onyx is currently offering apartments for immediate occupancy. The firm hopes the combination of the luxury apartment design with open floor plans and sophisticated finishes and the aforementioned tenant amenities will attract prospective renters. The company is also looking to lease 7,000 square feet of nearby retail space.
