CRE ALERT! Motorola launches business-critical voice and broadband solution MOTOTRBO Nitro

Motorola Solutions recently announced its launch of the MOTOTRBO® Nitro™ for commercial customers, which delivers and end-to-end enterprise communications solution with premium voice communications and fast private broadband data. The Nitro solution and devices were on display this week at the company’s 2019 Channel Partner Expo.

“Commercial operations such as hotels, universities and warehouses rely on instant voice communications as the backbone of their workforce, and they need their broadband data to be just as dependable,” John Zidar, corporate vice president, North America Commercial, Channel & Carrier, Motorola Solutions said in a release.
MOTOTRBO Nitro’s reliable broadband push-to-talk will make voice conversations sound clear and natural, the company says. Users will also enjoy better in-building coverage for voice and data across their whole organization, enabled by rapid private broadband data at twice the capacity and up to four times the range of Wi-Fi. By utilizing the Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) spectrum, the Nitro solution will not only provide commercial operations with easy deployment and radio network management, but also address the market need for a customized private network that delivers voice and broadband data.
The product launch displays Motorola’s commitment to provide its customers with a full suite of secure solutions that can work across a variety of band of spectrum and network applications. The Nitro’s features such as video feeds, push-to-talk and the first purpose-built radio to work on a CBRS network look to enrich the MOTOTRBO portfolio with broadband capabilities that can assist Land Mobile Radio (LMR) customers boost their current network. Customers will also be able to easily add new users to their network and still be able to communicate with existing LMR two-way radio users.
The MOTOTRBO Nitro was created to evolve as customers’ needs changed and the communications landscape as a whole evolved. Whether that means advanced LMR communications, future integrations of video surveillance or leveraging artificial intelligence, Motorola Solutions says Nitro is ready to scale with any commercial operation.
