JLL Introduces Tech Platform To Transform CRE Project Management

Real estate and investment management firm JLL recently introduced a new cloud-based global project management technology platform, the company announced in a release. This new platform brings digital transformation to commercial real estate project management. It is designed to support future advances in project management technology and AI, and will provide data-driven insights and support real-time collaboration that is essential to smooth project delivery.
“We are providing a high-powered, forward-looking digital platform that will support today’s global project teams and the need for real-time collaboration,” Todd Burns, JLL President, Project and Development Services told Connected Real Estate Magazine.
“We are constantly pushing our own boundaries to transform commercial real estate project management with industry-leading technology that provides a positive experience for users,” Burns added in a statement. “Our scalable platform changes the conventional approach to project management.”
Numerous data sources, mail applications and JLL’s virtual reality solutions will be able to be integrated into the company’s new technology platform. Users can view sophisticated data visualizations on desktop and mobile devices. Additionally, users around the globe can work in multiple languages and measurement modes as well as share documents and collaborate in real time.
JLL’s Project and Development Services group partnered with project management company Clarizen to deliver the global technology platform. Teaming up with Clarizen allows JLL to configure its future-forward technology to change the way people manage and deliver commercial real estate projects. Clarizen is also a highly secure company and can be accessed by anyone, including vendor and client users, from anywhere in the world.
“As the technology platform evolves, our digital skills—and those of our clients—will evolve, too, building on the advanced skills we and our clients already have to stay relevant in a rapidly changing landscape,” Burns said. “And, our advanced technology platform will help us continue to attract the best digital talent that makes both JLL and our clients more profitable and efficient.”
JLL, along with client and vendor teams can access a streamlined portal for all project management activities and documentation, plus global collaboration tools and a dashboard to track project tasks as they are happening. The platform’s financial reporting and project visualization features provide numerous ways to automate routine tasks and reporting, as well as present complex project information with graphics that show clear insights.
“We chose to partner with Clarizen, in part because of its platform’s ability to grow as technology advances and our client needs evolve,” Burns said. “As new features become available, we’ll continue to introduce advanced and innovative technologies that work for our clients’ teams around the world.”
