BLU Products introduces BLU VIVO GO smartphone

Device is the first Android 9 Pie (Go Edition) smartphone in the U.S.

BLU Products, in collaboration with Google, recently announced its launch of the BLU VIVO GO smartphone. The product is expected to bring affordability and improved performance to the market with the first Android 9 Pie (Go edition) in the United States, according to a release. The device’s design highlights include a narrow bezel 6.0-inch HD+ high-end display with an 87% screen to body ratio and high performance in contrast, brightness and color reproduction. Such features have never been made available at the $79.99 price point.
“The VIVO GO allows customers who do not want to break the bank on a smartphone but still experience a vivid full screen HD display, latest OS, and great user experience,” BLU products chief executive officer Samuel Ohev-Zion said in a statement. “With the holidays right around the corner, it’s also a terrific option for parents who want to give their children their first smartphone.”
The BLU VIVO GO smartphone’s additional features include a 64-Bit Quad Core 1.5. Mediatek Chipset, 16GB of internal memory, dual 8MP + VGA main camera configuration to capture depth of field for Portrait Mode photographs, five-megapixel front camera to make sure users never miss a “selfie” moment and an ultra-fast fingerprint sensor on the back for added security.
As for the software, the Android 9 Pie (Go edition) is tailored for smartphones with 1 gigabit of RAM or less. Android 9 Pie provides more storage, better performance and optimized data management. The software also comprises high quality security features, built-in malware protection and more. With Android 9 Pie (Go edition), users are guaranteed to possess smartphone that’s safe and clean, but still affordable. Plus, the redesigned set of Google Apps will let users search, work, type and play games in less steps and faster than they had previously.
