ZenFi Networks and Telia Carrier expand connectivity in NY Metro and Beyond

ZenFi Networks and Telia Carrier recently announced they’re forming a partnership in order to bring enhanced wireless connectivity to wholesale and enterprise customers throughout the New York and New Jersey metro areas. The pairing will allow ZenFi Networks to offer expanded digital capabilities across its footprint with seamless and cost-efficient connections to all major cloud providers by using Telia Carrier’s top-ranked global IP backbone.

Telia Carrier helps multinational enterprises whose businesses rely on digital infrastructure to solve their global connectivity issues. Its global Internet services connect more than 700 cloud, security and content providers with low latency. Meanwhile, communications infrastructure firm ZenFi Networks enables fiber optic network, network edge collaboration and wireless siting solutions throughout the New York and New Jersey metro region. ZenFi Networks’ solutions enable mobile network operators, wholesale telecom providers and large enterprise clients. Its purpose-built C-RAN infrastructure plays a key role in within the mobile and wholesale telecom ecosystems in one of the most prominent markets in the world.

The new partnership will also extend ZenFi Networks reach beyond the NY and New Jersey metro region. Meanwhile, customers will have ability to expand their reach to more than 300 Points of Presence in 120 global markets. Telia Carrier will now have access to ZenFi Networks’ fiber footprint, which spans more than 1,100 route miles, giving it the ability to provide diverse access to enterprise destinations throughout New York and New Jersey—a market that comprises the world’s densest concentrations of commercial business.

The collaboration leverages both companies’ technology and infrastructure to ensure quick deployments, to increase scalability and reduce downtime while delivering unique diversity and high levels of resilience for an extremely dependable network experience.
