SOLiD, which enables indoor and outdoor cellular and public safety communications at numerous venues, had a busy September as it signed four new manufacturers’ representative firms to conduct regional sales and business development activity on its behalf. SOLiD’s newfound relationships are the byproduct of Epic Marketing’s successful model—the firm represents SOLiD in the west, while Intertek represents the company in the New England area.
SOLiD’s new agreements include Enterprise Wireless (north central region), JJP Telecom (southeast region), WTG Marketing (south central region) and K-C Marketers (Rocky Mountains and desert southwest region). The company will maintain its relationships with Epic Marketing (Pacific west region) and Intertek (New England region).
The new partnerships will combine SOLiD’s wireless communication solutions with the firms’ sales expertise. Meanwhile, SOLiD will continue to sell directly in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and Washington, DC.
“We have the crème de la crème of reps out there,” SOLiD President Ken Sandfeld told Connected Real Estate Magazine. “These guys are the best in the business, and that’s what was exciting about it—we saw the potential to pull in the best of the best and build a comprehensive strategy around a nationwide network of guys.”
This representative model will expand SOLiD’s reach to more customers. It also will enhance its customers’ experience because each meeting addresses their needs for multiple products and services. The company’s latest products align with a wide range of customers more so than they have in the past. The products include SOLiD’s recently released Fiber2Antenna Solution, the edgeROU, which provides private network connectivity and a new 5G mmWave repeater that will released at a later date.
SOLiD has emphasized how crucial it is for its sales reach every state and vertical, along with the traditional wireless service provider and neutral host customers. The company’s in-house sales team aligns geographically with its representative firms and provides experience sales managers that have a strong working knowledge of its products. Additionally, SOLiD’s executive leaders offer strategic relationship and business development support to all of the regional and territorial teams.
