After last year’s successful turn, Connected Real Estate Magazine, along with registration partner T-Mobile, is hosting another Connected Virtual Tech Event. The online program will take place on April 28th and 29th and will again use the Purple Virtual platform to let attendees meet each other and gather valuable CRE information.
This Purple Virtual platform will make attendees feel like they’re actually on location. Attendees create their own avatar so they can walk through the 3-D conference hall, sit in various rooms as well as auditoriums to listen to key note speeches and panel discussions.
The Purple Virtual platform also lets attendees talk to one another—no typing into a message box necessary. Instead, the conference floor will be filled with private areas where people can conduct conversations. As long as participants’ computer microphones are on, they can speak to anyone they come across. The closer avatars are to one another, the louder their voices will be. The speaking feature can also be used to interact with company representatives at their booths.
“While these events are an enormous amount of work, we seem to consistently get high marks for the content and the connections that attendees and exhibitors get out of these events”, said Rich Berliner CEO of Fifth Gen Media and Publisher of Connected Real Estate magazine who puts on the virtual shows. “My team and I have really tried to fill the void that has been left with the lack of live events and this seemed like a great way to educate and help people meet each other. I’m really hoping that our virtual shows have helped attendees keep their heads in the game while live shows are on hiatus”, he continued.
