Now is the time to invest in your fire sprinkler system or retrofit your building with lifesaving and property conserving protection
The attached info was provided to members of the Safer Buildings Coalition by a representative of municipal government in the Phoenix, AZ area, but refers to federal statutes. It changes the depreciation schedule for investments in “fire protection and alarm systems” and “security systems”. It allows system owners to expense 100% of costs for fire sprinkler systems, among others, from now through 2023, with a decreasing schedule after that.

The Safer Buildings Coalition is an independent, non-profit organization founded in 2102.
